
In August 2022, the Archie Horror imprint will return with the discharge of Chilling Adventures Presents… Jinx’s Grim Fairy Tales. This would be the newest one-shot anthology to be launched from writer, following titles like December 2021’s Archie’s Vacation Magic Particular and February 2022’s Archie Love & Heartbreak Particular. Moreover, based on the press launch from Archie Comics, Jinx’s Grim Fairy Tales is simply the primary of a number of upcoming Archie Horror releases that can be introduced by the writer within the coming weeks.
Jinx’s Grim Fairy Tales
The Archie Horror imprint focuses on combining traditional Archie Comics characters with horror style components; in Afterlife with Archie, for instance, the kids of Riverdale face a city overrun by the undead. Jinx’s Grim Fairy Tales will proceed this custom by updating Jinx Holliday, A.Ok.A. Li’l Jinx, so-named for the truth that she was born on Halloween. First showing in 1962’s Pep Comics #62 by Joe Edwards, she’s now been given a spooky replace and the duty of offering the framing story for the latest Archie Comics one-shot anthology.

The body and one of many tales, “The True Story of Cantanella,” can be by Magdalene Visaggio (Kim & Kim) and Craig Cermak (Purple Group). The anthology may also embody “Suzie & the Monkey’s Paw” by James III (Squirrel Lady: The Unbeatable Radio Present) and Eva Cabrera (Betty & Veronica: Vixens) and “Will the Actual Sorcerer Please Stand Up?” by Joe Corallo (She Stated Destroy) and Evan Stanley (Cosmo the Mighty Martian).
The anthology will characteristic colours by Matthew Herms, lettering by Jack Morelli, a canopy by Vic Malhotra and a variant cowl by Francesco Francavilla.
