Just days after the Paris Olympics came to a close, an Aussie star athlete has shared a very romantic milestone with his significant other.
This year’s Olympics was filled to the brim with romance with everything from proposals under the Eiffel Tower to heartwarming embraces on live television.
While still overseas in Europe, Australian Boomers star Jock Landale decided to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend India Maddern.

The couple re-shared some heartwarming snippets from their big day taken by their friends and family from the ceremony and reception in Wiltshire, England to social media.
The pair tied the knot on a gorgeous restored Georgian manor called Kin House located in the stunning English countryside in Chippenham.
Landale recently competed in Paris with the Australian Boomers basketball team. The athlete was on the team for the previous Tokyo Olympics where they took home bronze.
In one adorable video, the newlyweds walked out hand-in-hand as Mr and Mrs Landale to a round of cheers from their friends.

Maddern was a vision in a structured white strapless gown with her hair pinned half-up and a bouquet of white flowers in hand. Olympic basketballer Landale meanwhile suited up with a bowtie and pair of stylish sunglasses for the occasion.
Before exchanging vows, the bride shared a clip getting her hair done and ready for the big day while dancing it out to Taylor Swift’s iconic love anthem You Belong With Me.

The newlyweds later partied it up with their loved ones at a lively reception.
At the afterparty celebration the pair were captured sweetly sharing a kiss as they danced along to the song L-o-v-e.
After beckoning the crowd to join them on the dance floor, one clip showed the couple locking eyes and holding hands as they sang the lyrics.

At one point in the night, Maddern had a wardrobe change into a stunning white mini dress and was pictured being lifted onto her new husband’s shoulders.

Two weeks before their wedding Maddern posted it was the pair’s “last anniversary before our new anniversary” and added she couldn’t wait to marry Landale.
Landale and Maddern got engaged in January 2022.
