Ava Phillippe is the lookalike daughter of Legally Blonde star Reese Witherspoon and actor Ryan Phillippe.
Ava, 24, recently graduated from UC Berkeley, has forged her own path in the world of art and modelling, and recently dabbled in acting.
And it’s something her parents want her to do – to work out who she is by herself.

“My parents have always encouraged me to choose the path that’s right for me and, you know, guide me along the way to make better choices than I might make,” Phillippe told Daily Pop.
”I’m so grateful for that. That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and to want you to be who you truly are meant to be. So I think I’m trying to do that.”

What does Ava do?
Ava has reportedly tried her hand at acting in recent years, with her dad speaking out and addressing criticism of ”nepo babies”. Ryan and Reese’s son Deacon is pursing a career in music.
“That’s what always annoys me about this whole nepotism talk with the industry,” the actor told Extra.
“So many people grow up and end up doing what their parents do, to some degree or another.”
He also said about Ava acting: “She’s sort of getting her feet wet, you know? She’s taking time to kind of figure out exactly what it is she wants to do.”
Ava is a painter, has sold some works on Instagram, and is a model – recently becoming the face of makeup brand Pat McGrath Labs. She has also modelled for Beyoncé’s Ivy Park.

Ava is unequivocally and unapologetically herself online – and is never afraid to be herself in front of her more than 1 million Instagram followers.
She recently celebrated Pride month 2024 with a candid post addressing her sexuality.
“Once upon a time, some gal on the internet said ‘gender is whatever’ in reference to her own sexuality. Many took her words out of context, but she knew what she meant. Anyways, this is her posting for the first day of pride month 2024. 🌈.”
How old was Reese when she had Ava?
Reese was 23 years old when she welcomed Ava with Ryan.
“To be completely candid, I was terrified,” she recently said on The Drew Barrymore Show.
Reese said on The View how hard it was to have a child so young, saying: ”I don’t have any sisters, I don’t have any aunts. I was alone in a new city, in Los Angeles, and I literally had no friends. I would cry.”

However, Reese has gushed about being a mum and recently shared a snap of her children and wrote: ”The greatest gift of my life is being their mom.”
What happened between Reese and Ryan?
Reese and Ryan met in 1997 and tied the knot in 1999. The public didn’t know much about their secret Hollywood romance until Cruel Intentions eventually hit theatres in 1999.
After a seven-year marriage and nearly 10 years together, in 2006, Witherspoon and Philippe announced their marriage was over.
