Azealia Banks has never been one to hold her tongue, and now, the provocateur has offered a theory as to what role JAY-Z has played in the ongoing feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.
As she’s been known to do, Banks took to her Instagram Live on Thursday (February 1) to share her theory. According to her, Minaj is pissed at the Houston Hottie because she wanted to be a “Roc Nation Girl.” Megan Thee Stallion was signed to Roc Nation under a management deal in 2019.
“Nicki is just mad because she wants to be a Roc Nation girl,” she said. “There’s no Wayne around, there’s no Drake. She feels really vulnerable. She wants the protection of a Roc Nation. She wants the organization and the prestige.”
She continued: “It’s pretty clear that Nicki’s fucked up. Like she’s fucked up financially […] I’m not going around trying to menace other artists and call them broke and tell them to pay their rent and all that other shit like that. You can tell just by whatever keeps happening with Nicki’s butt that she’s fucked up right now. Because there’s something very fucking wrong with the butt.”

Megan Thee Stallion recently insinuated that she may have to call Hova if the Head Barb continues to get out of pocket.
Speaking on the live radio app Stationhead — coincidentally, a platform favored by Minaj — on Thursday (February 1), the Houston native taunted her rap rival by warning her: “Don’t make me call Roc Nation.”
This appeared to be in response to Nicki’s recent claims that the JAY-Z-founded label, which manages Megan, is paying people to bad-mouth her on social media and employing bots to promote Megan’s single “Hiss,” which sparked the beef.
Tina Snow also appeared to respond to a direct line said by Nicki on “Big Foot,” saying: “If we go number one, bitch, I might put the straw back in the Hennessy,” referencing “Hiss” challenging for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
This was seemingly a reply to the lyric: “Your flow is such a bore/ Drinkin’ a bottle of Henny through a straw.”
These are the first comments that Megan Thee Stallion has made since Nicki Minaj released “Big Foot,” which mocked the death of her mother, her shooting at the hands of Tory Lanez and her alleged liposuction, among other things.

Nicki has largely been criticized for how she has handled the feud, most recently catching flak for comparing Megan’s shooting to Chris Brown’s infamous 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The Young Money hitmaker has also been forced to deny that she is taking cocaine after several users on social media accused her of going on a “coke rant” against Megan.
Roc Nation has also been targeted by Minaj in one of her many social media tirades over the last week.
