Balatro has been one of the highlights of the year for some gamers. Despite a temporarily hiccup where some regions were not able to purchase the game from the Nintendo Switch eShop, the rogue-like card game has been selling very well. So, it isn’t surprising that the game is getting post-launch support.
However, if you have been wanting a major gameplay update, then there is good news. The Balatro devs have announced that the game will be receiving its first major gameplay update in 2025. They said that the update “will bring new ideas and strategies to the game and as a token of huge appreciation to the game’s brilliant and passionate community, the update will be completely free”.
