beabadoobee has released her new song “All I Did Was Dream of You” featuring the Marías. The song grew out of a longtime mutual admiration between bea and the Marías vocalist María Zardoya.
It’s accompanied by a captivating video co-directed by longtime collaborator and partner, Jake Erland, and Lithuanian director AboveGround. It was filmed across Vilnius, Lithuania, showing beabadoobee in various scenes, from a desolate snowy landscape to a fish market, all juxtaposed against a fiery car crash.

“I like collaborating with my boyfriend a lot; we have the same taste in art and everything,” she said to AP in 2024 for her cover story. “Me and Jake have a really nice time talking about music videos and movies that we love, and creating things together. It’s one of our favorite things to do. The balance is just having full creative freedom, because that means we can go off and do whatever we both want.”
Recently, beabadoobee released her cover of Elliott Smith’s “Say Yes” in support of War Child UK, which protects, educates, and stands up for the rights of children living through conflict.
