Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth has revealed a heartbreaking fertility struggle.
On her podcast I Choose Me with Jennie Garth, the star shared she suffered two miscarriages with husband Dave Abrams, which took an “emotional toll”.
Garth tied the knot with Abrams in 2015. She shares three children from her previous marriage to actor Peter Facinelli.

During the recent episode titled We Choose…To Talk About What Almost Broke Us, Garth said she “got pregnant naturally” shortly after the pair honeymooned in Carmel.
But a doctor’s visit months into the pregnancy found there was “no heartbeat”.
Garth said she then underwent a dilation and curettage (DNC) procedure to remove tissue from her uterus.
“I think I remember them saying we could just wait and let it work its way,” she recalled.
The actress said she went ahead with the procedure that day “because it was just too much for me to carry a baby that had been terminated.”
After the miscarriage, Abrams said he had reconciled the pair might not have a child.
However the pair then got pregnant again naturally. Sadly their second pregnancy was “shorter” and ended with undergoing another DNC procedure.
“And then by that time, I think it had definitely taken an emotional toll which we didn’t know how to communicate,” Abrams spoke candidly.
“So we kind of just wrapped it up and then other things kind of came in the fold.”

Garth later admitted she felt “ashamed” at not being able to give Abrams children.
Abrams is a stepfather to her three daughters with ex-husband Facinelli.
In a September interview, Garth shared they underwent unsuccessful IVF treatments, which put a strain on their relationship. They later split in 2018 for ten months.
Garth and Abrams began dating in 2014 after being set up on a blind date.

They tied the knot in 2015, just months after Abrams popped the question.
Along with her fertility struggle, Garth has been open about the physical toll of menopause.
In August the star shared a workout video to Instagram, admitting she was “struggling”.
“My travel and work schedule, my body pain, not to mention menopause is a daily minefield, both physically & mentally,” she said.
