Comedian, actor, and producer Bill Burr has signed a high-profile first-look deal with Fox Entertainment Studio through his production company, North Hill Productions, a venture he co-founded in 2024 with longtime collaborator Mike Bertolina.

Under this deal, FOX will receive first access to both scripted and unscripted television content originating from North Hill. Burr and Bertolina will serve as executive producers and creative drivers behind these projects.
Hannah Pillemer, Head of Scripted at Fox Entertainment Studio shared, “Bill Burr is one of the boldest, most original voices in comedy… teaming up with him and Mike Bertolina at North Hill is exactly the kind of move that defines our studio.” She added, “FOX has always been home for comedy that swings big… daring, fresh and undeniably FOX.”
North Hill Productions’ inaugural project was Burr’s 2025 one-hour stand-up special, “Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years” which aired on Hulu. This special already earned two Emmy nominations.

Additionally, the company is currently developing a half-hour multi-cam comedy for Fox based on the life of comedian Earthquake. Scripted through this deal, the show builds on Earthquake’s deep comedic legacy, with both Burr and Earthquake serving as executive producers.
North Hill’s development slate spans multiple formats—including animation, documentaries, feature films, and both scripted and unscripted TV.
