Blake Shelton is breaking his silence on the divorce rumors with Gwen Stefani! Finally!
As we previously reported, speculation of trouble in paradise between the couple began last year when the country music star released a cryptic breakup song — one people couldn’t help but wonder if it was about the No Doubt frontwoman. They then skipped the CMA Awards — despite Blake’s nomination for his collaboration with Post Malone. It left fans very worried about Gwen and Blake’s marriage, and sources then claimed we should be!
Last month, insiders for The Sun revealed their relationship reached a point where things “could have gone either way” as “they’ve gone through real challenges” lately. Their issues reportedly stem from their opposite backgrounds. As a source explained at the time:
“There were times when the tension was high enough that people close to them quietly wondered if the relationship could take the strain. It wasn’t drama, it was the reality of blending two totally different worlds. Blake is as country as it gets, and Gwen grew up in [SoCal]. Those lifestyles don’t automatically sync. They had to learn from each other.”

Blake and Gwen tried to shut down the divorce rumors – even with a kiss. However, fans did not buy it. Now the Boys ‘Round Here artist is addressing the divorce rumors! He said in an interview with the County Countdown USA on Saturday:
“Starting in October, I think, or maybe November, I started noticing these articles popping up about ‘Blake and Gwen, they’re split up. They’re not even seeing each other anymore, they’re going through a divorce.’ And then, you know, a week later a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store: ‘Oh, they’re back together again!’ And another week goes by and we’re not seen at the grocery store: ‘They’re divorcing!’”
Blake does not explicitly say the rumors are false and ridiculous, but we get the sense that is what he meant! At least we hope! It would be a shame to see these two go their separate ways after four years!
The former Voice judge went on to say how the constant speculation about his marriage with Gwen has made him distrust the internet entirely:
“I see pictures of Gwen and I on social media that I really go, ‘that looks so real.’ But I know I don’t even own that shirt or, ‘Whose car is that?’ I don’t believe anything anymore that I see on the internet. I mean, nothing. I just don’t believe it.”
