Pop-punk legends Bowling for Soup have released a live album counterpart to 2004’s A Hangover You Don’t Deserve. Following the 20th anniversary of the LP last year, Bowling for Soup recorded A Hangover You Definitely Deserve (Live) during a sold-out stop in Manchester while the band were on tour in the U.K. earlier this year.
“The thought of playing this album from start to finish was a bit daunting,” frontman Jaret Reddick explains. “It’s 18 songs, and at least half of them we have never played live. But once we started the U.S. tour, it was honestly magical. There is a reason Hangover was our biggest album, I guess! When the U.K. demanded we bring the album tour there, we saw the opportunity. We recorded our show in Manchester, and this is exactly how it went down. What we played, how we sang, and even the banter are fully intact with no overdubs. I, for one, am stoked to be able to relive it on demand. It was a big night.”
