Brandi Cyrus is engaged to her Australian partner Matt Southcombe.
The DJ daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus announced the news on Instagram , sharing photos of the moment Southcombe proposed, and a picture of them kissing.
“It’s been the craziest, biggest year of my life and I get to close it out saying YES to forever with my dream man,” she said.
“I’m so thankful every day that my flight got cancelled and I walked into this coffee shop one afternoon and found you.
“You’re my very best friend and everything I’ve spent my whole life looking for. I love you forever!!!”
She also shared an picture of the engagement ring. It’s a split gold band with a unique diamond design.
Southcomb also posted about the milestone, writing on his Instagram story he had ”locked down the dream girl.”

He added a message saying he had “never met a sweeter, harder-working woman in my life.”
The Aussie also commented under Cyrus’ post, writing: “Not sure what I did to deserve such a good woman, but I’m grateful for her every day! I love you!”
The couple became Instagram official in October 2024 when Cyrus appeared in a post with Southcombe.
She was also spotted in a collage of photos he posted a few months later, showing her riding on the back of his motorcycle and posing together by the pool.
Brandi is the daughter of Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus. She has a podcast with her mum and often makes appearances on other podcasts.
The pair recently spoke to the Boyfriend Material podcast with Australian personality Harry Jowsey, with Brandi talking about her mum’s speedy engagement to Aussie actor Dominic Purcell.

She told Jowsey she encouraged her mum, 58, to slow down her relationship with the 55-year-old actor.
“I did tell you [that] you were rushing marriage a little bit,” she told Tish, who was sitting beside her.
“It scared me. I’m like, ‘We just got out of one marriage, why are we jumping into another?’ It just freaked me out.”
Tish was previously married to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, but they split in 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage and three children together – Miley, 32, Braison, 30, and Noah, 25.
