Some of Britney Spears‘ exes seem a little too worried about what the Oops! …I Did It Again singer could expose in her new memoir!
According to The US Sun on Monday, the 41-year-old pop star would’ve been releasing her book quite a bit earlier than this October, but there was one major hurdle — two a-list exes! According to an insider for the outlet, lawyers for both Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell “demanded” advanced copies of the tell-all to make sure it was all fair game:
“Lawyers demanded to see her book in advance and were adamant that some of the revelations were removed.”
Wow! What was removed?! Now we need to know! We’d say they just Streisand-effected themselves, but let’s be honest — everyone already wanted all the dirty deets to come out!

The source did say not to worry about all the censored bits — because there’s still gallons of tea to be spilled:
“There are still plenty of gobsmacking tales but Justin and Colin were conscious about what could be said about them.”
Apparently, all these demands caused the book to be delayed by FOUR MONTHS:
“The legal process meant the publication was held up by four months as discussions went back and forth about what could be included. But that has finally now been settled and her autobiography is all ready to go.”
Damn, four whole months worth of “back and forth”??
That’s not all, either. According to the outlet, the two men’s lawyers were prepared to slap the Toxic singer with a lawsuit if she didn’t agree to take out all the intimate details about her exes. That’s how serious they were about their demands of what could and couldn’t be said! Hmm… it makes us wonder what Brit-Brit said that made them so adamant about her keeping her mouth shut. Details about the act itself? That doesn’t make much sense for Colin, the man has a sex tape out there somewhere. Damage done. Maybe they didn’t treat her so well? That certainly wouldn’t be too much of a shocker considering how Farrell was back then and how JT was, well… yeah.
With all this being said, a second source has also dished on what can be found in the upcoming tell-all The Woman In Me — heart! They gushed:
“The book is brilliant and heartfelt. It has given Britney the chance to tell her own story, which certainly hasn’t been easy but which will be incredibly enlightening for her fans.”
The memoir will delve into her relationships, her conservatorship, her family, and her feelings surrounding it all. Gallery Books, the publisher, calls it “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope.”
Britney’s much-anticipated book is expected to hit shelves on October 24, and we can’t wait to hear about her life in her own words! Or, at least the words Justin and Colin agreed she could use…
