With filming on Season 2 of The Hunting Wives underway, Brittany Snow is immersed back in the drama and bloodshed of Maple Brook, Texas.
The actress, who plays Sophie O’Neil in the Netflix adaptation of May Cobb’s novel, teased that “someone dies” in the highly-anticipated sophomore season, which will make audiences “very shocked” and “angry.”
“Every script is a new adventure. They said that we couldn’t top last year and somehow I think we are doing it,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“I’m surprised. And I even knew what was coming, a little bit. So, I think people are going to be very shocked, I think people are going to be angry. I think people are going to be surprised and excited. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing to say, but definitely people should watch.”
Snow added of her reaction to one Season 2 script, “I stood up on my couch. Someone dies. I won’t tell you who. That is a wild play. Wild behavior.”
Production on Season 2 kicked off in November after Netflix renewed the Rebecca Cutter-created series back in September. The show is set to return to the streamer in 2026.
