With Jurassic Park on my mind I'd like to remind everyone that this man is probably the greatest computer programmer in fiction. Having designed, coded and debugged daily a massive operating system to run an analog surveillance system over a 30 sq mi island, writing (in the movie by himself) a million lines of code to do it. By contrast, windows 3.1 was developed over the same span of time, was 3 million lines of code, and was developed by several hundred people. Dennis did 1/3rd that himself in the movie. He's a fucking miracle worker.
