Carly Waddell is taking another serious step in her relationship with her fiancé, Todd Allen Tressler: moving in together.
On Tuesday, June 10, Waddell, 39, announced that she and her two kids, Bella, 7, and Charlie, 5, whom she shares with ex-husband, Evan Bass, were moving to Lebanon, Tennessee, to live with Allen, 40. The Bachelor in Paradise alum shared a sweet photo montage bidding goodbye to her, Bella and Charlie’s old home.
“Goodbye to the house where … They made me a super mom/ He learned to walk/ We spent lots of Christmas’s [sic],” she wrote via Instagram. “And Easter’s/ Halloween’s/ Where we played dress up/ Fought tornados/ And loved real hard/ And hello to a new roommate and wonderful new beginnings.”
Waddell captioned the post, “We moved out to Lebanon, Tn! And now I get to live with three of my best friends instead of two! And two dogs and a cat of course!❤️@tat_two.”
Waddell and Allen, who went Instagram official in March 2024, announced their engagement in October 2024.
“A little thing happened in Costa Rica 💍,” the reality star wrote via Instagram at the time. “Many of y’all have been wondering why Todd wears a ring on his hand and it is actually because I asked him last Halloween to marry me first!”
Allen ended up accepting Waddell’s proposal at the time, then asked her again with a custom two-stone ring from James Allen.
“I didn’t see the final product until he was down on his knee. It’s more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it to be,” she gushed to her followers. “Here’s to a new chapter with my dream man, and then dream ring he put on my left hand ❤️.”
Waddell was previously married to Bass, 42, for three years. The twosome called it quits in December 2020 after falling in love on BiP.
“We have made the difficult decision to separate,” the former couple said in a joint statement to People. “We will always cherish our time together and continue to have the utmost respect for one another as we focus on what’s best for the future of our family. We greatly appreciate everyone’s love and support and kindly ask that you please respect our family’s privacy as we navigate through this.”
Although the pair have moved on, Bass has continued to support Waddell and their kids, even noting that he supported her new relationship with Allen.
“I haven’t met him. I found out about him, I guess, a couple of months ago,” Bass said on the “Almost Famous” podcast in March 2024. “I really, really want to meet him. The kids have mentioned him once or twice. … I’m really looking forward to meeting this guy. I’m happy for her. I really want the kids to be happy with him, too.”
