Celine is the youngest of 14 siblings and it’s clear they have quite a close bond, with her older sister Claudette Dion, 74, revealing the family’s Christmas plans in a new interview.
“We follow in a tradition that our mum modeled for us, our dad too, to gather as a family to celebrate Christmas,” she told Hello!.
It’s unconfirmed whether Celine – who is currently based in Las Vegas – will attend her sister’s festive celebration in Quebec.
“We can’t know what wonderful gift we’ll have for Christmas,” Claudette noted.
“But her presence would be the most wonderful gift ever.
“We never know. We cross our fingers and send her all our love and positive thoughts.”
The update comes days after Claudette provided a heartbreaking update on the singer’s battle with stiff person syndrome, revealing she is “praying for a miracle”.
“She’s doing everything to recover,” Claudette told Hello.
“There’s little we can do to support her, to alleviate her pain.”
