Starting today, XBOX Insiders* can try a new way to stream games by purchasing cloud playtime without a Game Pass subscription.
This preview gives XBOX Insiders who do not have an active Game Pass subscription an early look at the new option before it rolls out more broadly in November. During the preview, XBOX Insiders can purchase cloud playtime, stream games on supported devices, and share feedback to help us continue improving the experience.
Cloud playtime is available to Insiders at introductory launch pricing:
Cloud playtime packs provide an ad-free cloud gaming experience, including shorter wait times, high-quality streaming, and playtime that remains available until it’s used.
As we previously shared, XBOX Insiders can also try cloud gaming for free with ads, giving players another option for accessing cloud gaming without a Game Pass subscription.
Thanks to all the XBOX Insiders who participate and share feedback as we continue testing more ways to play with XBOX Cloud Gaming.
*Availability, purchasing options, eligible games, and cloud gaming features may vary by market, device, account eligibility, and preview ring. Requires cloud playable game purchase or for select-games, free-to-play access. Requires supported device.
