Michael Lehrer, a sketch, improv and stand-up performer whose credit included The Second Metropolis, has died of problems of ALS. He was 44.
Lehrer stored performing even after his 2017 analysis, showing in Austin, Texas golf equipment in a wheelchair. He talked overtly about his struggles with the illness on stage and on the comedy podcast Kill Tony.
Lehrer was chosen as a New Face of Comedy for the 2014 Only for Laughs Competition.
