Control Resonant, Remedy Entertainment’s eagerly anticipated sequel to Control, finally has a release date: September 24th. Pre-orders are open and snagging the PS5 digital deluxe edition will grant you access to the game two days early.
In Resonant, you take over as the antagonist (of sorts) from the first game, Jesse’s brother Dylan. Jesse also returns for Resonant, delighting fans of the first Control, but Dylan will remain the sole playable character. Expect the same psychological thrills and trippy combat, with a story that seems focused on Dylan’s journey to make up for his mistakes and reconnect with his family. Also, the end of the trailer confirms that Dr. Casper Darling, the delightfully goofy scientist who appeared in live-action clips throughout the first game, is back. That’s dynamite!
