Country rock singer Brantley Gilbert was suddenly pulled off stage during a gig in Tupelo, Mississippi yesterday for an “emergency backstage”
Though it ended up being for good news, as his wife Amber had given birth to their third child on the official tour bus.
The singer, 39, uploaded a video detailing the events of last night to his Instagram, sharing that his first call was to his mother.

She was heard asking how he was, to which he responded, “Not as good as you are about to be. You got a new grandbaby.”
“I got a new grandbaby? I do?” she exclaimed, as the video cut to clips of the dad holding his newborn.

As she asked after his wife Amber, 36, Brantley told his mother that she was “a freaking savage.”
“I know she is. She’s amazing. She’s absolutely amazing,” replied his mother.
Brantley then stalked back on stage and said into the microphone, “We got a baby,” with the audience erupting in cheers.

A montage of the child’s photos were shared, as well as a sweet moment of the country singer being hugged by his bandmates.
In the caption the now dad-of-three reflected, “So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget.
“Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

Brantley and Amber married in 2015 and couple have two older children, Barrett, six, and Braylen, five.
The pair had dated in high school and were in an on-and-off relationship before reconnecting for good ten years later.
They first announced they were expecting their third child on Mother’s Day in May 2024, with the pair posing on the beach while holding up an ultrasound image.
