Warner Bros. Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for DC’s upcoming animated film Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part Two. The trailer comes not long after Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part One, was released and this trailer offers us a little glimpse at what’s in store.
One of the more exciting aspects of the trailer is that it reveals Terry McGinnis’ Batman from Batman Beyond will be in the movie, and the trailer features him fighting alongside Jensen Ackles‘ Dark Knight. This reveal comes after executive producer Butch Lukic said: “In the second movie, you’ll see one or two characters from other animated universes.”
In the film, “Death is coming. Worse than death: oblivion. Not just for our Earth, but for everyone, everywhere, in every universe! Against this ultimate destruction, the mysterious Monitor has gathered the greatest team of Super Heroes ever assembled. But what can the combined might of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern and hundreds of Super Heroes from multiple Earths even do to save all of reality from an unstoppable antimatter Armageddon?!”
I tried watching the first movie, but I could not get into it. The animation and art style just don’t click with me. It’s hard to watch. The animation definitely isn’t as good as it used to be.
The first part was made available for digital purchase on January 9. The 4K UHD Steelbook and Blu-ray will be released on January 23. No release date has been announced as of yet for Part 2.
