Timothée Chalamet melted hearts with his public on-stage tribute to girlfriend Kylie Jenner at yesterday’s Critics Choice Awards.
But the actor also confused some people – including fellow Hollywood star Amanda Seyfried.
The Mean Girls and The Housemaid star, 40, has revealed she was left perplexed by one particular word Chalamet said in his speech.

In his speech, the Dune and Wonka star, 30, said: ”Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“I love you,” Jenner sweetly replied.
It was Chalamet’s use of the word “foundation” that confused Seyfried.

Underneath an Instagram post of the moment shared by Evan Ross Katz, the actress admitted she got mixed up.
“OH not like a foundation/charity,” she commented underneath.
“I was curious about that.”
Her comment got more than 1,200 likes.
Fans on social media were also shocked, not realising the actor and reality TV star, influencer and beauty entrepreneur Jenner, 28, have been dating for three years already.
“My first thought was – wait it’s been 3 years? Lol,” another person wrote underneath Katz’s post.
Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s rare public appearances
The young couple recently made headlines by wearing matching bright orange outfits at the LA premiere of Chalamet’s new film, Marty Supreme.
Hacks stars Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter paid homage to the moment at the Critics Choice Awards, dressing up as Chalamet and Jenner in neon orange outfits identical to the outfits worn at the LA premiere by the couple.
Chalamet and Jenner were first spotted in September 2023 putting on a cosy display at Beyonce concert in Los Angeles, setting tongues wagging.
