EXCLUSIVE: Danny Feldheim has joined The Walsh Company as EVP of Television.
Feldheim was brought in to help lead The Walsh Co.’s push into TV, with a primary focus on the company’s renewed relationship with Apple TV+, which extended their overall deal with The Walsh Co. in March.
He was most recently department head at ABC Signature/Disney Television Studios, where he helped get multiple projects, both comedy and drama, into production across Hulu, Disney+, and Onyx, including Phony starring Connie Britton at Hulu, Holes at Disney+, and How to Die Alone at Onyx.
Before his time at ABC Signature/Disney Television Studios, Feldheim was a Senior Vice President at Paramount+ and its predecessor, CBS All Access, where he helped launch the original series division. Select shows he oversaw include The Offer, Star Trek spinoffs: Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, Strange New Worlds, The Good Fight, and Stephen King’s The Stand.
“Danny brings an impressive combination of excellent taste, deep talent relationships, and a tenacity that I believe will make him a very successful producer,” shared Kevin Walsh, The Walsh Co. founder. “His incredible network of supporters in the TV business speaks for itself. I’m so excited to welcome him as we continue to expand the company and solidify ourselves as a top destination for filmmakers and premier provider for Apple TV+,” he added.
Over the last few years, The Walsh Co. has produced acclaimed Apple Original Films such as Academy Award-nominated Napoleon from director Ridley Scott starring Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby, and The Instigators from director Doug Liman starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. The company’s upcoming films include Echo Valley starring Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney for Apple Original Films and Miss You, Love You starring Allison Janney and Andrew Rannells for Madison Wells Media.
“Moving over to the producing side marks the beginning of a thrilling new chapter in my career, and one that I’ve been looking forward to ever since I was a kid,” Feldheim said.
“Kevin has tremendous relationships, a passion for commercial storytelling, and an undeniable track record of championing artists and getting their projects made. On top of all of that, as a lover of TV and Film, I have found Apple to be making some of the best content globally over the last few years. To be given the opportunity to join The Walsh Company and work tirelessly to deliver best-in-class series to Zack Van Amburg, Jamie Erlicht, and Matt Cherniss at Apple is a dream come true,” he added.
