The perfect companion to the new Dark Sun TRPG book and Dungeons & Dragons’ Season of Survival!
An unlikely team of antiheroes fights for survival in the wastelands of Athas in the new trilogy of standalone graphic novels, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun. The first volume will be written by Dan Abnett (Warhammer 40,000), illustrated by Nil Vendrell (The Witcher), colored by Mattia Iacono (Werewolf by Night), and lettered by Buddy Beaudoin (The Flash), with cover art by Jeff Stokely.
About Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun:
On Athas, every day is the end of the world. Amidst an arid wasteland defiled by psionic magic, callous survivors fight for scraps in the shadows of sorcerer kings.
Generosity can get you killed in a place like this. But that won’t stop Tikat, a lethal Thri-kreen gladiator, from fighting for the ones he loves. So, when Tikat’s friend Wik is targeted by a powerful psionic enemy, Tikat volunteers himself as bodyguard.
What follows is a brutal battle for survival as Tikat, his cannibal companion Kvora, and the rest of their reluctant party members fight to escape the city of Tyr. As the team rends their way through hordes of bloodthirsty minions, they also hunt for the identity of their faceless enemy. Can Tikat and his comrades unmask their true foe before being butchered by a thrall?
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun (hardcover, 56 pages, 6.625” x 10.1875”) will be available in comic shops on April 20, 2027. It is now available for preorder from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and your local comic shops and bookstores for $17.99.

Praise for Dungeons & Dragons: The Fallbacks and Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers:
“Dungeons & Dragons: The Fallbacks #1 is both a solid introduction to the world of D&D and an adventure that’s laced with plenty of humor.”—AIPT Comics
“It’s a genuinely enjoyable, action-packed issue that hits the ground running and doesn’t stop until it absolutely has to, striking a similar action-comedy vibe to the DUNGEONS & DRAGONS movie, Honor Among Thieves.”—Midlife Gamer Geek
“Dungeons & Dragons: The Fallbacks #1 is an entertaining start as the classic property finds a new comic publisher with Dark Horse . . .. It’s a casual adventure that is welcoming to all who want to join the party.”—Graphic Policy
“Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers is a ton of fun for longtime fans of D&D and anyone looking for a good story. Hastings’s great characters, pacing, and story, combined with Medri’s artwork and Jackson’s colors, make this comic a joy to read”—G33k HQ
“Dungeon and Dragons: Total Party Killers #1 takes a little bit of time to show the type of book it’s going to be moving forward, but ends up being a fun little fantasy anti-hero diversion to ponderous sagas and blockbusters. Hastings and Medri’s book is quirky in the best way.”—Graphic Policy
