James Gunn provides an update on the DCU’s Waller show starring Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. The DCU’s upcoming Waller series is one of the projects first confirmed in James Gunn’s announcement of the DCU’s first chapter “Gods and Monsters”. Waller will feature the return of Viola Davis’ titular character, who’s one of eight DCEU characters surviving the DCU reboot in the new franchise. So far, Waller‘s plot and cast are unknown.
Responding to a fan’s question on Bluesky, James Gunn confirms that Waller is in active development at DC Studios. Although Gunn hasn’t mentioned Waller in recent interviews or announcements, he’s still overseeing the project. All further details about the show remain under wraps.
