The rivalry between Dillon Francis and DJ Hanzel grows with every passing day, particularly since, in response to their Twitter exchanges, it appears Dillon pressured Hanzel’s palms into releasing his album doubtlessly a bit sooner than he’d hoped. (In fact, that is all in good enjoyable, proper?)
DJ Hanzel, the home alias of Dillon, has been releasing music for years as a splendidly tongue-in-cheek alter ego. Lastly, the venture’s debut album anti all the pieces has dropped on streaming companies after putting up a take care of Create Music Group this previous December.
“Since time immemorial, peasants, rubes and all-around losers have tried, however by no means achieved, going ‘ONE DEEPER,’” Hanzel stated. “On this wealthy custom, we bear witness to Dillon Francis falling in need of my chic depth. Like some sort of musical gladiator, I’ve slayed my inferior rival Dillon Francis, and he should now settle for his defeat and with it, his new moniker I’ve bestowed upon him: Der Pottyman. In fact I’ll go on to rejoice becoming a member of the Create Music household, and I’ll achieve this with dignity and style, whereas Der Pottyman languishes in inventive banality. For it’s really an honor for me to embark on a brand new journey going one deeper with the superb group at Create Music Group.”
