Irish artist Dove Ellis has announced his debut album, Blizzard, out Dec. 5 via Black Butter and AMF Records. Self-produced and recorded in London and Liverpool, Blizzard sees Ellis endure hardship and embrace hope, all wrapped in stoic lyricism.
Alongside the announcement is the simultaneous release of the singles “Love Is” and “Pale Song.” When paired together, the two tracks read like a cycle of decay, reckoning, and disillusionment, leading to a sobering definition of love. Known for his love of performing shows at unique and odd places, Ellis has also released a live performance of “Love Is” at The Horse Hospital, a former refuge for sick horses, in London.

Later this month, Ellis will begin his first-ever U.S. tour, where he’s opening up for Geese and performing headline shows in London, Los Angeles, and New York City. Check out the tour dates and stream “Pale Songs” and the live performance of “Love Is” below.
