Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex and Dom Dolla will meet in the California desert Oct. 10-11 for the one-off festival HEAD TRIP, which is being held on the same grounds as promoter Goldenvoice’s evergreen Coachella and Stagecoach festivals just outside Palm Springs.
The full lineup features Harris, Fisher b2b Chris Lake Under Construction, Gou b2b Four Tet and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling on Oct. 10, with Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, the Blessed Madonna and DJ Harvey taking the stage on Oct. 11.
Artists will perform on a single stage on both days, with no overlapping sets. Goldenvoice is offering free parking starting at 1 PM, while car camping and shuttle passes can also be purchased. Tickets go on sale March 13.
HEAD TRIP will mark the U.S. debut of the Floating Points-designed Sunflower Sound System, which will take place inside a special domed tent with mycelium paneling, next-level acoustic treatments and artwork commissioned DJ/artist Josephine Chime. Floating Points will DJ throughout the weekend in tandem with surprise guests.
This is Goldenvoice’s first new event on the Coachella grounds since 2023’s Power Trip, which rounded up Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, AC/DC and Judas Priest for a three-day blowout. In 2016, the company launched the classic rock-leaning Desert Trip, which welcomed Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Roger Waters to the desert but has not been held since.
