Ellen Barkin has claimed she was maltreated on the set of her 1989 thriller with Al Pacino, saying the director verbally abused her and touched her inappropriately.
In a latest interview with HuffPost, the actress, 68, mentioned the alleged incident occurred on the set of her movie Sea of Love.
Barkin alleged director Harold Becker ripped off her merkin throughout the filming of a intercourse scene. A merkin is a lady’s pubic wig worn for nude stage or movie scenes.
“What was I going to do when [director] Harold Becker on Sea of Love walks over and actually rips my merkin off, taking some pubic hair with him and saying: ‘What do you want this for? No person’s you’,” she informed the publication.
