Emma Hernan‘s boyfriend, Blake Davis, is speaking out after being labeled a “MAGA” supporter by her Selling Sunset castmate, Chrishell Stause.
After Chrishell, 43, accused Blake, 28, of saying that “pronouns are dumb” and using “the N word” on Instagram last week amid an apparent feud with Emma, 35, Blake, who owns Trust Fun Yacht, clarified that he’d only met Chrishell “a handful of times,” and that their last run-in was “a year-and-a-half ago.”
“The meeting at Ms Stause’s home took place in January 2024, and this was the last time I saw or spoke to Ms Stause,” Blake told the Daily Mail on May 27. “We are barely acquaintances and we know very little about each other’s beliefs and lives.”
“[We also] have never discussed political views,” he continued, adding that he “does not use derogatory language about anyone.”

According to Blake, who has been dating Emma since late 2023, he did refer to G Flip, 31, who is non-binary, as Chrishell’s “wife,” rather than “them,” but he did so only by mistake.
“The only time we had a real conversation was when I met Ms Stause at her house with Emma. I regretfully referred to G Flip as Ms Stause’s wife. Ms Stause corrected me that they were partners and that G Flip goes by the pronoun them. Since, I have respectfully used the preferred pronouns,” he explained.
Blake then said he felt like he was “getting picked on by somebody my mom’s age.”
As he remains committed to his romance with Emma, Blake noted that he was “not part” of her friendship with Chrishell.
“Aside from a few breaks we have taken due to distance and other personal issues, we remain committed to each other,” he confirmed. “I am a supportive partner to Emma, and I fully support her friendship with Ms Stause.”
Selling Sunset season nine is expected to begin streaming on Netflix sometime later this year.
