The actor was nominated for his role in Fellow Travelers, with Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer) winning the award instead. Matt’s Fellow Travelers costar, Jonathan Bailey, also lost out on the Emmy to Lamorne Morris (Fargo). One person wrote on Reddit, “Fellow Travelers, Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey were ROBBED… It’s one of the best tv shows I’ve ever seen. It’s such a beautiful love story,” while another tweeted, “fellow travelers snubbed, jonathan bailey snubbed, matt bomer snubbed.”
