Eva Longoria, Jenna Ortega, Pedro Pascal & More Take Trophies – Deadline

The 38th annual Imagen Awards celebrated Latino excellence and it was a flamin’ night for Eva Longoria who took the trophy for her feature-length directorial debut.

Longoria directed Flamin’ Hot, the story about the creation of the spicy Frito-Lay snack. The film also took awards for Best Feature Film with Jesse García taking the accolade in the Best Actor – Feature Film category for his portrayal of Richard Montañez.

Other winners of the night included Zoe Saldaña for her acting work on Avatar: The Way of Water and Antonio Banderas for his voice-over work in the animated film Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.

Winners in the television categories included Acapulco’s Enrique Arrizon as Best Actor in a Comedy, Jenna Ortega as Best Actress in a Comedy for Wednesday, Kate del Castillo as Best Actress in a Drama for Volver a Caer and Pedro Pascal as Best Actor in a Drama for The Last of Us.

The 38th an independent panel of entertainment industry executives and Latina and Latino community leaders determined Annual Imagen Awards winners.
