The Eyes of Wakanda trailer introduces prospective audiences to some of the primary characters in the animated series, like Winnie Harlow’s Noni, a disgraced former member of the Dora Milaje, and Cress Williams’ Lion, a former Wakandan general-turned-pirate. The trailer also features a quick glimpse at “the MCU’s 1st ever female Iron Fist,” who will be voiced by Jona Xiao.
Coogler developed Eyes of Wakanda and serves as an executive producer alongside Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Kalia King, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt. Eyes of Wakanda will be the third installment in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther franchise and the first Disney+ series.
A third live-action Black Panther movie remains in development at Marvel Studios. Plot details remain heavily under wraps for the MCU sequel, although Denzel Washington is all but confirmed to have a role in the movie. However, Black Panther 3 will not mark the next appearance of the title superhero; it will instead be in Avengers: Doomsday.
