The fan at the centre of a debacle which saw Adele stop mid-show to lambast security guards has now spoken out.
The British singer, who is known for hits including Rolling in the Deep and Hello, was performing as part of her Vegas residency when she noticed a concertgoer and security in the crowd.
Adele, 35, was singing Water Under The Bridge when she was visibly distracted by security pulling the fan aside.

“What’s going on with him, that young man? He’s been bothered so much since I’ve came on,” Adele began.
“What’s going on with him? Why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone please, leave him alone! He’s here to have fun alright. Everyone is!”
Now, the fan at the centre of the debacle has posted a point-of-view video showing the moment Adele stopped the show after another fan’s footage went viral yesterday.

In the clip, which was posted to TikTok, the fan is on their feet belting out Adele’s songs when a woman comes up to him and asks him to sit down.
“Look behind you, everybody back there,” the woman says, pushing the fan back into their seat.
Later in the video, a good portion of the crowd are also visibly standing yet the fan is once again targeted, this time by security. It appears that the security guard is asking the fan, who was exuberant during the show, to calm down.

“Adele, thank you so much for this breathtaking night and for standing up for me, so that I could live your concert as it should be. I’m also sorry that I didn’t respond back to anything you asked me. You started talking to me and I literally stopped breathing,” the fan wrote in the TikTok’s caption.
“I did not expect everyone in my section to be mad at me for having the time of my life and wanting to stand up and sing with her but I honestly did not care at all about what anyone was saying to me I just was in awe of the masterpiece I was watching with my own eyes. I did not have time for them haters,” they concluded.
Viewers under the fan’s TikTok quickly came to their defence.

“Concerts are meant for SINGING and STANDING!! GO OFF KING!” someone commented.
“Why do people come to concerts to sit and be boring?” another questioned
“Adele is a legend for this,” a third added.

Adele isn’t the only superstar to question event security this year. Earlier during Taylor Swift’s mammoth Eras Tour, she was mid-way through singing Bad Blood when she was forced to intervene in a spat between a security guard and a fan in the front row.
The security guard was chastising a fan when Swift caught wind of it mid-song.
Asserting that the fan had not done anything wrong, Swift yelled out between lyrics: “She’s fine!” while motioning at security. “She wasn’t doing anything!” Swift followed up.

“Hey! Stop!” she bellowed, still performing flawlessly.
It was later revealed that the security guard had been escorted away after the incident.
