Fanhome, the leading producer of subscription-based collections, has announced some exciting new additions to its collection of die-cast Star Trek starships.
After the successful launch of the first 20 ships in the collection, the company announced at New York Comic Con that Trekkies can expect an additional 20 vessels arriving soon. And for the first time ever, people will be able to purchase each die-cast Star Trek starship “a la carte,” including ships that were previously out-of-production, starting on October 15. This means fans won’t be required to subscribe.
Once again, exceptionally detailed replicas of iconic Starfleet and Klingon ships featured in the Star Trek movies and series will be available. According to the PR:
The latest Fanhome Star Trek starships are constructed with a combination of die-cast metal and high-quality ABS resin. The models each measure between 9 and 12 inches and are based on the original visual effects models that were used to produce the shows. Each ship also comes with a 16-page magazine that profiles its history and role in the Star Trek universe and explores the design process with exclusive art and insightful interviews with the production team.
