Five are one of Britain’s biggest boy bands of the ’90s and early 2000s. They formed back in 1997.
They are known for hits including Let’s Dance and Two Sides to Every Story.
Just five months ago, the singers reflected on their incredible rise to fame in a new interview – including the time they released the music video for their single Let’s Dance in 2001, which oddly featured a cardboard cut out of bandmate Sean Conlon.
Fans were told the singer was battling glandular fever, but it was later revealed he quit the band after having a nervous breakdown.
The rest of the group had to carry on releasing their single and had to film a video clip.
”That shouldn’t have been allowed to happen,’’ singer Scott Robinson told The Metro about the use of the cardboard cutout.
Conlon told the publication he had no idea about the use of the cutout until he watched the music video on TV.
Major bands that have made a comeback years later
In the video clip, the boys and female dancers dance around his likeness.
But keeping things light, Conlon joked the group can put it out on stage for any performances he can’t make on their upcoming tour.
