According to whispers making their way out of Gisele Bündchen’s inner circle, not everyone is thrilled about her tying the knot with baby daddy and jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. And no, this isn’t about love or vibes or compatibility: it’s about money, honey. And lots of it!

Sources spilled to Page Six on Friday night that Gisele’s family has been quietly freaking out over what they see as a wildly uneven financial matchup.
While Joaquim may be respected in the martial arts world and runs a Miami academy with his brothers, he’s still lightyears away from Gisele’s global icon status and jaw-dropping net worth. One insider didn’t mince words when describing the family’s concerns:
“Her family warned her that marrying a penniless guy when she is worth millions is a mistake.”
Yikes…
That’s not exactly a warm welcome to the family group chat.
And while Joaquim isn’t exactly living under a bridge, let’s be real: Gisele Bündchen is in a completely different universe when it comes to fame and fortune. The woman has been crowned the highest-paid supermodel multiple times and reportedly sits on a $400 million fortune. That kind of money changes the stakes in any relationship.
