Glixen have released their new song, “medicine bow.” The release is the first since their second EP, quiet pleasures, which came out earlier this year. The track sees the band teetering between messy emotions and whether to hold on or let go.
“medicine bow” embodies the same introspection and extreme fuzziness that they’ve become known for. “I’ve always wanted to be heavy,” vocalist Aislinn Ritchie told us last year. “It just took some work to figure it out. My chords have been really bright and more melodic. Our goal is to have it sound grittier, but also have that sweetness to it.”
