Players have a limited amount of time to receive the Bird Call emote in Fortnite for free, and they will have to do it before that window is gone. Once it is, you will have to wait until it appears in the Item Shop, and the timeframe for that is still unknown. To ensure you get this emote, read the rest of this guide to know for sure.
Fortnite has many emotes by now, especially for players who have been around since the beginning. Most of the time, you have to unlock these through the Seasonal Battle Pass or by spending V-Bucks to buy them. For a limited time, this Bird Call emote is free for anyone who fulfills the conditions.
How To Get The Bird Call Emote In Fortnite
Redeem During An Event
While you do not have to spend V-Bucks on the Bird Call Emote, you must purchase them themselves. You can get it by purchasing them physically or digitally, as one of our editors purchased the V-Bucks within the PS Store digitally and still received the Bird Call emote. If you purchase the V-Bucks physically, they have to be redeemed in the store within the limited event time.
While you can get V-Bucks in other ways, you must buy the V-Bucks for this to work. This sounds like the Bird Call Emote is not free, but normally, you would have to purchase the V-Bucks and then spend them on the emote. For this event, if you purchase the V-Bucks you get the emote for free.

Where To Find The Bird Cell Emote
The Locker
After you unlock it, you should receive a pop-up notification the next time you log in to the game, telling you you have the reward in Fortnite. At that point, all you have to do to find the emote is to head to the Locker and find the emote section.
Once you have found it, you can click on the “Edit” button to change your emote wheels. You can see how to do this in YouTuber EfiRun’s video. Each wheel can have up to six emotes, and there are two wheels to populate with new emotes. The second wheel will only be populated by favoriting emotes. If you favorite the Bird Call emote, you can then add it to your roster in Fortnite.
