Ghost of Yōtei‘s Reliquary of Faith puzzle is a mid-game challenge you can’t access for a while. It’s also one of Yōtei’s tougher puzzles with a solution that’s more straightforward than you might think, but if you’re after all the Yōtei-themed gear, it’s worth tracking down and completing.

Reliquary of Faith location in Ghost of Yōtei
The Reliquary of Faith puzzle is tucked away at the end of a little mountain path on the northern Oshima Coast. This region is blocked off until Chapter 2, which begins after you defeat the Oni and Kitsune and challenge the Dragon and Spider. In other words, it’ll take quite a while, even if you’re mainlining the story.
Once you do make it to Oshima Coast and can freely move about again, the pathway is literally right next to where you start out. Turn to the east and look for a small path behind the trees. If you reach the hot spring, you’ve gone too far.
Reliquary of Faith solution in Ghost of Yōtei
The solution this time is the same as with the other reliquary puzzles: the statues must face Mt. Yōtei. The wrinkle is that the statues move together, and the one in the distance is unreachable. When you interact with one statue, it turns 90°, and the adjacent statues plus the one on the ridge move 180°. You can tinker with it until you get the right result, but if you want to just finish it fast and move on, here’s what you should do.
- Turn the middle statue once.
- Turn the right statue once.
- Turn the middle statue twice.
And that’ll do it!
Reliquary of Faith reward in Ghost of Yōtei
Like with the other Reliquary rewards, your reward will vary depending on how many Reliquary puzzles you’ve already solved. If this is your first Reliquary puzzle, you’ll get the Charm of Mt. Yōtei, which reduces incoming damage. If you already have it, you’ll receive an upgrade for the charm in addition to a cosmetic item. The rewards are as follows:
- Charm of Mt. Yōtei
- Yōtei’s Shelter Hat and a Charm of Mt. Yōtei upgrade
- Yōtei’s Charge Sword Kit and a Charm of Mt. Yōtei upgrade
- Yōtei’s Mercy Mask and a Charm of Mt. Yōtei upgrade
