It’s the question on every fan’s lips: When is Euphoria season three coming out? But the answer isn’t as simple as it seems.
Euphoria star Hunter Schafer appeared on the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, and when asked the question, she broke down in tears.
”Girl,” Schafer began with a sigh.
“I have no f—ing idea what’s going on, and you can ask literally all of the cast and it’s… you know.”

She went on to say “the real tea” is that a lot has happened within the cast.
“We’ve had, and it’s hard to talk about but you know, we’ve had deaths,” Schafer said as she began to cry.
“Girl, [I’m] gonna get emotional,” she added, trying to hold the tears back as they ran down her cheeks.
Season two of the hit show aired in February 2022. A little over a year later, one of the stars, Angus Cloud, died of an accidental overdose.
Following his death, tributes began to roll in from Cloud’s co-stars, with Schafer taking to Instagram to describe him as “sunshine.”

“His love was nothing short of a gift,” she wrote.
“I’m so grateful to have shared so many enormous fits of laughter, so many sweet moments, and the joy of getting to make something together that we loved so much. i love you angus 💗 thank you for everything.”
Speaking with Call Her Daddy host, Alex Cooper, Schafer continued to cry as she explained how Cloud’s death has affected not just herself and her castmate’s emotionally, but also the future of the beloved TV show.
“I think everyone feels a sense of anticipation for like if we are supposed to do a season three,” Schafer said.
“Obviously, I’m still coming to qualms with what’s happened, and losing people that we really loved and were a part of this family.

“And I think season three, if we do go back… that’s gonna be tough,” Schafer added, wiping the tears from her cheeks.
“And I think there’s a world in which we can channel that into making it a beautiful season three if it is supposed to happen.
“But I think that s— really threw everyone through a loop, on an emotional level and then there’s you know all these industry whatever political things that go into whether or not this is happening, but that’s emotionally where I think a big part of what’s happening [is at] too.”
