I Promised The World have announced their forthcoming self-titled EP, out Jan. 16 via Rise Records. The EP announcement comes alongside the third-wave screamo band’s recent signing to Rise Records and follows their full-length debut, Fear Of The Fall, which came out last year.
“It’s an unreal feeling to be signed to Rise, a label that has history with many of the bands that have inspired us along the way,” the band say. “We hope this record connects to both old and new listeners by giving nostalgia and an improved version of our sound.”

I Promised The World also dropped the new video for their single “Bliss in 7 Languages.” The track, produced by Jon Markson and Adam Cichock, channels the spirit of early 2000s alternative. The video embodies that same energy as the band perform in a sparse field, and the video itself is color-graded to give the same MySpace-era essence.
