Ice Spice has found herself in some hot water after 16-year-old TikToker Aya Tanjali was seen twerking in her new “Deli” music video.
The visual for the Like..? deluxe cut arrived on Wednesday (July 26), and has already amassed over four million views as of this writing.
Since sharing the video, Twitter users put a disclaimer on Ice Spice’s tweet, writing: “Viewers should be warned this video features a minor dancing in a sexually provocative manner, which may violate state and federal laws. One of the dancers in this video is 16 years old, a fact likely known to Ice Spice, as the two follow one another on Instagram.”
In the comments, fans expressed their outrage at a 16-year-old twerking on camera.
“A 16 year old child IS TWERKING IN THIS DAMN VIDEO enough is enough you bird brain rappers need to be stopped y’all some damn degenerates,” one person wrote, while another added: “Not sure what’s worse about the girl in the video, the fact she’s 16 or MUSLIM.”
A third person wrote: “There’s no way no one told her having a minor twerking in your music video is a terrible idea.”
“I’m actually kinda disgusted that ice spice had that lil girl twerking in her music video but let me not say too much,” one last person tweeted.

Ice Spice has yet to comment on the matter.
In the video, directed by George and Frederick Buford and the rapper herself, the Bronx princess throws a party in a bodega while twerking with friends and flexing huge stacks of cash. But instead of buying anything, she just makes it rain on her friends who are shaking ass on the counter.
“She a baddie, she showin’ her panty/ She shake it like jelly/ Hunnid bands in Chanely/ But I’m still shakin’ ass in a deli,” Ice Spice raps on the track.
According to Talk of the Charts, “Deli” will add to Ice Spice’s charting feats as the RIOT-produced track is challenging for a Top 50 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 next week.
Ice Spice spoke about the importance of having a local bodega in your neighborhood as Apple Music spent a day in The Bronx with the rapper earlier this month.
“Delis are like very, very important in New York. I’m sure they’re important everywhere. As a New Yorker, it’s important there’s always a deli in walking distance,” she said. “I got cookies, chips and a croissant and a water to keep it balanced and healthy.”
