As law enforcement continue to try and solve the case of Nancy Guthrie‘s disappearance, they’ve managed to uncover some new security camera images.
As we’ve been following, it’s been over a month since Savannah Guthrie‘s mom’s terrifying disappearance — and we’re no closer to answers than we were before. It’s an absolute tragedy that investigators haven’t been able to track anyone down that has information on this.
New images were recovered from Nancy’s home security cameras, per an ABC News source that was briefed on the case, but sadly this isn’t something the FBI feels is very important to the investigation. In fact, they say the images — which were from the weeks leading up to Nancy’s vanishing — showed nothing suspicious.
The images were captured when motion censors set off the recording devices in the backyard, side yard, and swimming pool areas. Investigators, per the outlet, were not able to get the videos, but they were able to see the thumbnail pictures. Unfortunately, these grabs showed nothing of interest. Sad.
FOX‘s Matt Finn spoke on X (Twitter) about the situation, and said:
“Fox is told these images do show people and cars but currently nothing is considered suspicious. No arrests, etc. These images were captured in the days and weeks leading up to Nancy’s disappearance on February 1st BUT federal investigators have so far been unable to recover new images from the critical hours on the actual night and early morning that Nancy went missing.”

Since the pics are not suspicious, the FBI reportedly doesn’t ever plan to release them… See the post (below):

But this does raise more questions.
As Matt pointed out, if they were able to recover camera grabs from WEEKS ago, why couldn’t they get any from the hours leading up to Nancy’s kidnapping? He wrote:
“If the FBI was able to recover weeks of new photos from Nancy’s three cameras but so far could not recover anything new during the hours around Nancy’s disappearance, it does raise again the concept of the suspect(s) using a wifi scrambler to interfere with Nancy’s cameras?”
It’s an interesting thought! And, honestly, at this point, anything seems possible. No word on if investigators are looking into this possibility or not, though.

Ugh. We really hope the Guthries can get answers soon. We continue to keep Nancy in our thoughts.
