Eire Baldwin has opened up about why she selected to have an abortion, saying having a toddler at the moment in her life would have been “traumatising”.
The mannequin and daughter of Hollywood actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger shared the deeply private message to TikTok within the wake of the US Supreme Court docket’s controversial repeal of Roe v. Wade, a landmark resolution that legalised abortion.
Opening the video, Baldwin, 26, tells viewers she rejects the concept ladies must share their abortion tales in any respect. (Watch above.)

Baldwin prefaces her story together with her personal expertise of sexual assault, which occurred to her as a teen, including that whereas she doesn’t want to delve into the expertise, it was one which “modified the course of the remainder of [her] life.”
In reflecting on the reversal of Roe v. Wade, laws that had been cemented in regulation since 1973 in an effort to allow entry to protected abortions throughout the US for all American ladies, Baldwin says she realised how vital her personal abortion had been in her life.
