As fans are still reeling from Ali Fazal’s stint in Amazon Prime Video’s Mirzapur season 3, there’s a buzz about his next web series. The actor is reportedly gearing up to join South actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘supcoming web series Rakht Brahmand. This exciting collaboration has fans eagerly anticipating their on-screen chemistry. After all, Family Man’s Raji and Mirzapur’s Guddu Pandit is a brand new combination.
Mirzapur’s Ali Fazal to reportedly feature in Samantha Prabhu’s Rakht Brahmand
Amidst the buzz surrounding his recent success, Ali Fazal has reportedly taken on a leading role in the upcoming fantasy thriller Rakht Brahmand. This series is helmed by Raj & DK, known for Shor in the City, Go Goa Gone, and recently Family Man.
The series will be directed by Rahi Anil Barve, the brains behind the critically acclaimed film Tumbbad. Furthermore, the cast of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s web series Rakht Brahmand is nothing short of stellar. It reportedly features Aditya Roy Kapoor and Wamiqa Gabbi alongside Samantha and Fazal. With just six episodes, this limited series is set to begin filming next week in Mumbai.
A source close to the project revealed, “The project is a marvelous vision of Raj & DK. It’s definitely a step forward in the fantasy drama genre. The cast has finally all been locked, and the shoot is set to start next week.” The source further added, “Ali will be shooting for the series through August while also completing small schedules of his other projects. The show came to him, and the vision of the show was enough to get Ali excited to be part of the series. It’s a really interesting part, something he has never done before both from a character perspective and also genre-wise.”
While fans eagerly await Rakht Brahmand, Ali Fazal has several other exciting projects in the pipeline. It includes Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino, Aamir Khan’s Lahore 1947, and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life.
