Marc Elias is nowhere to be seen among the so-called prominent enemies to faceless allegations. Just endless variations of foul mouthing and ignorant ramblings began to disappear into the ether. Some figures simply stared blankly at the text of Woods’s tweet and came up with their own uncontrolled responses. Some were blissfully unknown and weren’t sure who Elias was, while others considered him in her top list of public enemies.

What jumped up the brains of a few holed up under a stacked floor was obviously Marc Elias, the famed lawyer from the other side, engaged mainly on lawsuits after elections. By all means, he is your typical lawyer that conservatives love to hate. Accusations against him include everything between election interference and quasi-treason. Woods’ tweet never specified just what civil infraction he was alluding to, but whatever it was, that certainly set in motion the cyberspace to speculate away.
There was a whole array of possible interpretations, some really funny, while others really, well, somewhat unhinged. One user, errantly titled ERADICATE DEEP STATE, suggested, ‘lol that’s the democrats’–like that was somehow definitive. ‘Was he kicked out of Perkins Coie?’ asked another user by the name Pep. Another immediately followed, one Bettina B, stating, ‘No, DJT is not a threat to democracy. This man is a disgrace.’ Just the usual Twitter insanity.
A few were just nasty. Linda K Reeh labeled Elias a ‘traitor to our country,’ while LennX cryptically stated, ‘He is light in the loafers.’ However cryptic that may be. RevFitz just went out saying, ‘He’s a communist dog.’ Not exactly the most legalistic-speak here, but again, we’re on Twitter.
Some just sounded awfully confused about the whole thing. ‘Who IS Marc Elias?’ asked Deddy5. The same sentiment arose from KrissyUSA1st. Bryan W Cross, ominously, added: ‘He is worried..He knows what is coming…’ Creepy.
Just your garden-variety insults from here. David S dubbed him ‘the lawyer that puts flyers on cars in the bail bonding parking lots.’ Oof. LoneStarGator upped the ante with something like, ‘Pants too tight?’ Real class, right there.
But the true MVP has to be HouseofElon, who insult-argued that Elias is ‘downright fugly & creepy’ and made sure to make it clear that all of his work comes from the political pipeline. The user then proceeded to roast Bernie and John Kerry, not sharing any nice words for them either.
Then there came some dark stuff. Patriot 4Ever threatened ‘the day of reckoning’ upon the fraud complaints, while Susan walked right in and labeled Elias as ‘the threat to democracy’ and demanded jail for him. Diane Dalton got into the action on the old school yell-caps: ‘PROVE IT MARK!!! PROVE TRUMPS LIES!!’
And here comes the funniest thing; maybe half of the replies were roasting Elias for his sweaty nervousness. Edward Suarez pointed out that his ‘rapid blinking’ registered, in the opinion of him and perhaps some jury members, as being deceptive. Both Winston Miller and USAF Brat agreed to the nervousness or fright theory.
In fact, Woods left the question in the air, thus allowing for torrent speculation: a revelation? stirring the pot? For either reason, the drama was served cold. And frankly, this is all we could really wish for.

What is going on of all things with Marc Elias? From the looks of these replies, no one really knows-but they surely have some opinions. Today that’s all one would need for the chaos to continue producing!
