Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been available on the Nintendo Switch for 6 years now. That said, the game has been receiving a lot of downloadable content from Nintendo recently. There have been 5 waves of DLC so far, with the 6th and final one officially slated to release this holiday season. However, none of these DLC waves can be found on a physical cartridge.
Well, that is going to be changing. Amazon Japan currently has a physical cartridge of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that also has the first 5 waves of the DLC. Unfortunately, the last wave is not included in the cartridge. You will have to input a digital download code for the 6th wave. Nevertheless, you can see a tweet relaying the news down below.
