A big Canadian comedy pageant has introduced it’s coming to Halifax this summer season with comedy star Jerry Seinfeld on the forefront.
The Nice Outside Comedy Competition — often held in Edmonton and Calgary — might be increasing into Halifax.
It will likely be hosted on the Garrison Grounds close to town’s downtown core.

On Tuesday, the pageant introduced its Halifax headliner, saying Seinfeld is “one of many best and most recognizable comedians of all time.”
He’s set to carry out on Aug. 11, within the first of three pageant nights hosted within the metropolis.
Seinfeld is greatest recognized for his self-titled sitcom, Seinfeld, which ran for 9 season and gained a number of awards within the Nineties. However, his comedy profession first took off after he appeared on The Tonight Present with Johnny Carson in 1981, and he’s been performing, directing and producing since then.

The Nice Outside Comedy Competition stated the occasion is a go, rain or shine, and is accessible to adults over the age of 19.
“The imaginative and prescient… is and can at all times be to create an inclusive and secure expertise that celebrates and options all types of efficiency comedy, from locals to superstars,” the pageant wrote.
“All whereas celebrating and supporting the communities and exquisite parks we go to. A portion of the pageant proceeds will help the Halifax Progress Membership.”
Tickets for the pageant go on sale on Friday, with tickets starting from $69 to $89 for basic admission and as much as $309 for VIP tickets.
