Perez requested this song and without missing a beat Jewel blessed us with THIS! She hadn’t rehearsed Angel Standing By or even performed it in a very very long time. Flawless! Powerful! We ALL needed this! It was so special, as always, to hear her sing. And it was very moving to learn more about the important work her Inspiring Children Foundation foundation does right here in our hometown of Las Vegas!
We are leaving this gala for her nonprofit with a happy heart, a full belly and a nourished soul!
